Jack Valentino
Jack Valentino's Journal'Nasty ads' the Democrats SHOULD HAVE RUN in the 'swing states'----
In this state (Michigan), and I suspect the other swing states, we were overwhelmed with the anti-Kamala ads about how she wanted the government to pay for trans sex-change operations in prisons (which was actually the TRUMP policy, but nevermind that)--- those were the "Willie Horton" ads of the 2024 campaign!
I felt that the Democrats and Harris campaign needed to counteract those, but they never did---
even with ATTACK ads which had NOTHING to do with that policy--
just something far enough down the low road to neutralize them
(I made a suggestion for one somewhere here, but now I forget what I suggested--
but it was something with the gloves completely off---
maybe an ad about Trump's alleged rape of that young teenager
who had been pressing charges, but ultimately disappeared,
and now no one knows whatever became of her--- )
That's what I mean about "taking the gloves off"---
yeah, the charges were never proven--- BUT---
NOBODY IS EVER HELD RESPONSIBLE BY THE VOTERS FOR ADVERTISING COMPLETE OUTRIGHT LIES ANYMORE !!!--
as the Republicans have proven--- but on that particular issue, there were actually some court filings---
Advertise THAT one, and the LONG LIST of REPUBLICANS
who have ACTUALLY BEEN CHARGED OR CONVICTED
of CHILD RAPE and/or sexual abuse--- and RUN THAT DAY AND NIGHT
for the last week or two of the campaign---
That's what I would have done. I think GQP child rape "Trumps" prison sex-change operations,
but you have to run the ads, and run the everlasting FUCK out of them....
but Democrats are "too polite" to run ads like that...
We need to stop coming to an artillery battle with butter knives,
just because we think 'we are better than that'
or we 'go high when they go low'...
All our good intentions amount to nothing if we lose the campaign.
WIN IT, WHATEVER THE MEANS---
and we can be the 'good people' afterwards-- when it counts!!
Do you have to be a CEO to be considered "assassinated" when you are shot in the street
by a gunman who is still at large, and whose motives at this point
are only a matter of internet speculation ??
Apparently so--- since numerous other people have been shot dead in the street
within the same time-frame--- and there appears to be no such labeling of their deaths as
an 'assassination'
Maybe you have to be considered in some context 'important'
before your murder can be labeled as an 'assassination' ?
I'm pretty sure that each individual whose life was ended
probably would consider the act to be an 'assassination'--
from their personal point of view....
So he was a CEO of a healthcare company---
but the vast majority of the US or any other country
never heard of him before he was gunned down in the street
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
He probably was in favor of the weak gun laws which may have helped to bring about his demise.
DonOLD Trump's proposed cabinet appointments start to look like "trolling Democrats"
because they are mostly so bad.... just to piss us off
Fucking maniacs, criminals, dog-killers and anti-vaxxers and pedarists--
totally unqualified persons---
making Marco Rubio look good. So far,
he looks like the only one who could be even "remotely"
perceived as being a "normie"....
(except for getting on his knees in front of the orange asshole---
but that has been "normalized" among Republicans)
I made the leap to BlueSky! Follow me and I'll follow back...
Love the way it looks and works so much like Twitter-- that makes it easier.

Sherrod Brown for Ohio US Senate 2026 ?
Vance will have to vacate that seat before January 20th. The Ohio Governor will appoint an interim GOP Senator, and a special election will be held in 2026 to fill the seat for the remaining two years of Vance's term.
Brown lost his Senate re-election bid by only about four percentage points against the Trump headwind, which swept Ohio by double digits.
In 2026, the situation is likely to be much different. Trump won't be on the ballot, and very likely there will be the usual backlash against the party in the White House-- compounded by whatever madness Trump commits over the next two years. (Think 2018 or 2006, when Brown was first elected). There is almost certain to be a heavy tail-wind behind the Democrats, and no Trump on the ballot to bring out the lazy maggot faction.
Brown is really the only Democrat left in Ohio with much political stature. On top of that, he already has an organization from 18 years as senator, and from this past campaign. Certainly he could raise a lot of money nationwide if he runs, and a good-sized volunteer army available for a phone call.
If he were to run for that seat, and win, that would be a huge plus for Democratic prospects for re-taking the U.S. Senate, although I believe that may not be possible before 2028... Certainly, I think he is the best chance the Democrats have to re-take that Senate seat in 2026 and hold it in 2028.
https://signalcleveland.org/filling-vp-elect-jd-vances-u-s-senate-seat-the-future-of-ohios-democratic-party/
(There is a question of whether he might run for Governor of Ohio instead-- but that wouldn't help the rest of the country too much... and he couldn't do all that much for Ohio, as I anticipate they will continue to have a lock on the legislature through gerrymandering.)
So the Homeland will be safe from badly-behaved puppies,
but the House and the Senate and the White House will NOT.
Pelosi refused to allow any impeachment of Shrub to move forward.
Said that it was "off the table"
She lost me at "off the table",
so anything she has said after that has been 'suspect' to me.
Seems clear that she never intended that Kamala Harris would be the Democratic nominee this year,
after she pushed President Biden "off the table"... probably hoping for a white male candidate
in some kind of fantasy primary for which we had no rules provisions,
or so it appeared to me--
and was bitter that Joe out-maneuvered her with his
endorsement of his VP within 30 minutes after he withdrew from the election.
Even though she lost, I think Joe's judgement was quite sound---
there was NO chance that we would have won with some kind of
"primary after the primary" candidate who was not the AA Vice President.
She didn't lose by all that much. Even the pollsters would not make a prediction.
I wish former speaker Pelosi a happy retirement from politics, whenever that happens, and thank her for her service
to the country and the Democratic party.
Not much point in arguing the "maybes" and "might-have-beens" at this late date.
I personally believe that there were no "better candidates" than
President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris for this particular election,
where too many voters were more worried about the high price of eggs and Doritos,
than about the real future of their country.

In other Twitter news, Nicholas Fuentes, the white nationalist who famously posted "Your body, my choice. Forever"
has been DOXXED there. Showed up in my feed from someone I don't follow. Tens of thousands have seen it now.
Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.
"Your body, my choice:" Hate and harassment towards women spreads online (And OFFLINE At Schools!)

digital dispatches
ISDs blog for the latest in data-driven research on hate, disinformation and extremism.
Content warning: This article contains offensive and obscene language.
In a national election heavily focused on women and reproductive rights, women in the United States have faced an onslaught of online abuse, harassment, and denigration following Vice President Kamala Harriss loss. This is more than just a continuation of misogynist trends that ISD documented in both the run-up to this election and in the aftermath of previous cycles including 2020 and 2022. As an emboldened group of manosphere influencers, extremist ideologues and politicians exploit Donald Trumps election as a rebuke of both reproductive rights and womens rights, the impact on women could extend into the next presidential election and beyond.
While Trumps victory has been a focal point for communities which support restricting womens reproductive rights, there was a spike in misogynist content in late October. ISD found a significant rise in posts focused on repealing the 19th Amendment (which gave women the right to vote). This appears to reflect the Harris campaigns acute focus on securing a sizable majority of women voters. Many of these posts which targeted women and supporters of their rights faced quick rebuke. Their spread nevertheless demonstrated the influence of an increasingly vindicative set of online actors, who appear to be using the election results as a permission structure to more overtly and aggressively espouse narratives about curbing womens rights.
ISD researchers tracked narratives targeting women and the discussion of those narratives between November 4 and 6, 2024 across X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, Facebook and Reddit. The use of derogatory and misogynistic language was already rife among well-noted manosphere and extremist communities on these platforms, and this activity has only gained steam in the past three days since the election. ISD also observed reports of these narratives being used to harass women offline, particularly on high school and college campuses.

"Your body, my choice. Forever." White Nationalist Nick Fuentes Tells Women On Twitter in thinly veiled rape threat

then it can be
"My body, your choice. My GUN"

::snip:::
In the past 24 hours, there has been a 4,600% increase in mentions of the terms your body, my choice and get back in the kitchen on X. Similarly misogynist language, such as the use of dumb cunt to target Harris, television personalities such as Rachel Maddow and others, received more than 64,000 mentions on X from more than 42,000 accounts on November 5.
Nick Fuentes, an influential white nationalist podcaster, appears to be one of the early instigators in promoting the phrase on November 5. His X post, Your body, my choice. Forever. has since received 35 million views.
On TikTok, female users are reporting that accounts are commenting your body, my choice en masse on their posts. One TikTok creator stated: I had to delete a video because I was being threatened and several men commenting [sic] saying they couldnt wait until I get raped or your body my choice. Another stated: I woke up this morning to men commenting your body, my choice. In a TikTok forum on Reddit, a user posted: Last night I reported one of the many comments Ive seen saying Your body, my choice. The comment has been left up and the report has been marked as not a violation. How? HOW THE FUCK is that not a violation?
The phrase your body, my choice appears to have made its way offline, specifically into schools. Young girls and parents have used social media to share instances of offline harassment. They include the phrase being directed at them within schools or chanted by young boys in classes.
Welcome to Trump's America...
